Composition: 1 ml suspension for injection contains:

Benzylpenicillin-procaine 200.000 iu

Dihydrostreptomycin 200 mg

Indications: The preparation is intended for the treatment of acute and chronic mixed,

primary and secondary infections of the respiratory, urinary and gastrointestinal tract and

soft tissue skin infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to the active substance in

the preparation.

Contraindications: The drug is not administered to animals hypersensitive to penicillins,

cephalosporins, and aminoglycosides, as well as to animals with impaired kidney, liver

and cohleovestibular apparatus.Not should be used in pregnant sows and gilts because

it can cause vaginal washing and abortus.Not given to small herbivores (guinea pig,

hamster, gerbil). The preparation is not given to quite young animals and racehorses 2

weeks before the race. The drug is not indicated for sheep and goats whose milk is used

for human consumption.Do not give to horses whose meat is used for human

consumption.

Do not give medication intravenously.

Side effects: At animals that received NEOSTREP they may develop hypersensitivity

reactions (allergy, anaphylaxis), and nerve disorders (anxiety, uncoordinated

movements, vomiting, cramps, hearing loss). At this medication are especially

susceptible pigs where, after the application, can occur hyperpyrexia, vomiting, swelling

of the vulva, cyanosis of the extremities. At pregnant sows and gilts there may occur

vaginal washing and abortion. At the site of drug administration, local reaction is

possible, that spontaneously passes.

Target species:

Horses,cattle,sheep,goats,pigs and dogs.

Dosage and method of administration: The drug is applied intramuscularly once a day

at the rate of 0.5 to 1 ml / 10 kg body weight for all target species. The application is

repeated daily for 5 days.

Instructions for proper use of drugs:

Shake the bottle before use.

Do not exceed the recommended dose.

If the dose for cattle and horses greater than 10 ml, pigs, sheep, goats and 5 ml, and 2

ml for dogs medicine is applied on more injection sites.

Do not use this medication simultaneously with bacteriostatic drugs (tetracyclines,

sulfonamides, macrolides, lincosamids) due to the antagonistic action.

It may be associated with allergic reactions. In this case apply antihistamines and

glucocorticoids.

Withdrawal period: The meat of treated animals is not for human consumption during

treatment and 30 days after the last administration of the drug. Milk should not be used

for human consumption during treatment and 4 days after the last application of the

medicine.The meat of treated horses is not used for human consumption.

The drug is not used in sheep and goats whose milk is used for human consumption.

Special considerations:

For use in animals:

It is possible allergic reaction to drug. In this case antihistamines and glukokortikoides

should be applied. On this medication are especially susceptible pigs at which may occur

after the use of hyperpyrexia, vomiting, swelling of the vulva, cyanosis of the extremities

and even abortus.Should not be used at the same time as bacteriostatic drugs

(tetracyclines, sulfonamides, macrolides, lincosamides) due to the occurrence of

antagonism. Penicillin enhances the effect of anticoagulation substances. Nafcilin,

methicillin, koksicilin, cephalosporins, aminoglycosides and polymyxin B enhance

antimicrobial activity penicilina.Drug does not apply to any myorelaxants, magnesium

salts and general anesthetics because potentiation of neuromuscular paralysis, which

usually causes dihidrostreptomicin.Also, do not apply at the same time or with a diuretic

furosemide and other potentially nephrotoxic and ototoxic drugs.Acides and bases

inactivate dihydrostreptomycin .

In the absence of incompatibility studies, the drug must not be mixed with other

veterinary medicinal products.

Use in pregnancy and lactation:

The drug can be used in pregnancy and during lactation, but with caution because of

possible hearing damage of fetus.At pregnant sows and gilts it can cause vaginal

washing and abortion.

Special considerations for persons administering the veterinary medicinal product

to animals:

After injection, inhalation, ingestion or topical application at allergic people penicillins

may cause reactions of hypersensitivity.Persons hypersensitive to penicillins may also

be oversensitive on cefalosporine.Alergic reactions to these antibiotics are sometimes

very severe so in such circumstances you should seek medical help.Persons with known

hypersensitivity to penicillins and cephalosporins should not shake hands with them

because caused anaphylactic reactions can be hazardous to life.After application of the

drug hands should be washed with soap and water, and better protection is achieved by

wearing protective gloves.

Special precautions for disposal and destruction of drug

Unused drug or drug residues shall be destroyed in accordance with applicable

regulations.

Storage: Store in original container at temperatures up to 25 ° C, out of reach of

children.

Shelf life in original packaging: 2 years.

Shelf life after first opening: 28 days at temperatures up to 25 ˚ C

Method of issue: on prescription of veterinarian.

Packaging: bottle of dark glass type II of 100 mL, closed with bromobutyl rubber

stopper and aluminum cap .
