Neomulin DHC-P

Composition: 1 g oral powder contains:

Tiamulin hidrogenfumarat 33.3 mg

Doxycycline hydrochloride 100 mg

Indications: Treatment of many infections of the respiratory tract of pigs (enzootic

pneumonia, atrophic rhinitis, pasteurellosis) and infections of the respiratory and

digestive tract of poultry (cover, CRD, infectious sinusitis, colibacillosis, salmonellosis,

psittacosis), as well as all other infections caused by microorganisms susceptible to

tiamulin and doxycycline for these species.

Contraindications: The drug is not indicated for animals sensitive to tiamulin,

doxycycline and other tetracyclines.Seven days before and after treatment with this

medicine use of jonoforn coccidiostatics (monensin, narasin,salinomycin) is

contraindicated.The drug is not given to pregnant cows in early pregnancy, breeding

boars and commercial laying hens. Do not give to individuals with liver disease and renal

failure.

Side effects: Sometimes, especially after prolonged drug administration in higher doses

than prescribed, it can cause gastrointestinal disorders accompanied by diarrhea,

vomiting, and anorexia. Animals may also experience hypersensitivity reactions

(erythema, edema and pruritus). When animals are exposed to sunlight there may be a

photo sensitization. In young animals it may cause discoloration of the teeth.

Target species of animals: pigs and poultry.

Dosage and method of administration: The drug is used in food or drinking water, the

daily amount that is in

Pigs: 2-2.5 kg / 1 ton of food or kg/1000 1.2 to 1.5 L of drinking water;

Poultry: 1.5-2 kg/1000 L of drinking water.

The drug is the recommended dose administered once a day, and the treatment lasts 3-

5 days.

Instructions for proper use of drugs: The drug mixed with food or dissolved in the

water use right away. In goal of better consummation of medicated drinking water it is

recommended not to give water to animals several hours before treatment.

Withdrawal period: Meat of treated pigs is not for human consumption during treatment

and 10 days after the last application of the medicine; meat of poultry during therapy,

and 8 days after the last application of the medicine. The drug is not indicated for hens.

Special warnings

Use in pregnancy and lactation:

The drug is not administered to animals during early pregnancy and during lactation.

Special considerations for persons administering the veterinary medicinal product

to animals:

People who prepare food with the medicine should abide to basic safety precautions:

wear protective gloves and a face mask, protective clothing, do not eat, drink or smoke

during the preparation of drugs for animals. After completion of the preparation and

application of the drug wash your hands. People hypersensitive to tiamulin and / or

doxycycline should avoid contact with the drug. In case of allergic reactions or other

forms of adverse effects at people that gives animals a drug, it is necessary to contact a

Storage: Store in original container at a temperature below 25 ° C, out of reach of

children.

Special precautions for disposal and destruction of drug:
