Enrodian

Composition: 1 ml suspension for oral use contains:

Enrofloxacin 5 mg

Kaolin 180 mg

Pectin 5 mg

Indications: Therapy of primary and secondary bacterial infections of the

gastrointestinal tract (colibacillosis, coli-septicemia, salmonellosis), and other

gastrointestinal infections, which are the causal agents sensitive to enrofloxacin.

Contraindications: The drug is not administered to animals hypersensitive to

fluoroquinolones antimicrobials drugs. Also, the drug is not given to adult ruminants and

pregnant sows, and even quite young and immature animals, which may cause damage

to the articular cartilage. Do not give to animals with damaged function of kidneys. The

drug should not be used for prophylaxis purposes.

Side effects: After a long period of drug administration in high doses it can cause

allergic reactions and diarrhea and photosensibility.

Target species: Calves, pigs (swine).

Dosage and method of administration:Oral use.

Shake well before use.

The drug is administered not diluted via applicator or mixed with drinking water, milk or

milk replacer through the supply bottle, in a dose of 10 ml of medication / 10 kg bw

For all target species.

The drug is mixed with water, milk or milk replacer immediately prior to administration.

It is applied once a day, and the treatment lasts 3-5 days.

Transparent plastic aplicator- syringe of 10 ml and PVC extension in the form of hose

length of 70 mm located in the outer packaging.

Instructions for proper use of the drug:

The use of this drug should be based on clinical findings, and if it is possible on results

of antibiogram. Therapy is conducted with freshly made suspension in water, milk or

substitute for milk. Before making a suspension, shake the bottle with the medicine.

Withdrawal period: Meat and edible organs of calves, pigs and piglets are not for use

during the course of therapy, and 8 days after the last application of the medicine.

Special warnings

Shortly before giving a suspension, the medicine bottle, shake well.

Fluoroquinolones should only be used for the treatment of diseases for which there are

already aware or are expected to respond poorly to other classes of antimicrobial drugs.

Whenever possible, fluoroquinolones should only be based on the findings of

susceptibility testing.

The drug, which is not in accordance with the recommendations contained in the

summary of product characteristics and the leaflet could lead to an increase in the

representation of bacteria resistant to fluoroquinolones and reduce the effectiveness of

treatment with other quinolones, due to possible ukršteme resistance.

Special warnings for persons administering veterinary medicinal product to

animals

In applying the drug should avoid direct contact with skin or mucous membranes, or

eyes. Hands after each application should be washed and medicine kept out of the

reach of children.

Special precautions for disposal and destruction of drug

Unused drug or drug residues shall be destroyed in accordance with applicable

regulations.

Storage: Store in a cool, dark place, at temperatures below 25 ° C, out of reach of

children.
