Composition: Activated carbon.

Effect: Activated carbon is an electroneutral adsorbent that attracts negatively and positively charged particles, gases (formed under the action of microorganisms), liquids (various toxins) and parts of microorganisms to its surface. Activated carbon has a great ability to adsorb toxic products of metabolism, gases, microorganisms and tissue breakdown products. In addition, this drug has the ability to adsorb oxygen, so it can be used as an oxidizing or deodorant agent when applied to the skin.

Indications: Exogenous poisoning, dyspepsia, catarrh of the stomach and intestines, diarrhea of ​​various etiologies, flatulence, and activated charcoal can be used externally as a drying and deodorant for wet wounds and eczema.

Application and dosage: Activated charcoal is administered orally mixed with food or in drinking water (power supply or probe). Externally, the preparation is applied by dusting.

Cattle: 50 – 500 g
Horses: 50 – 400 g
Sheep, goats: 25 – 100 g
Pigs: 10 – 100 g
Dogs: 5 – 20 years
Cats: 5 – 10 g

For oral administration, the daily dose may be divided into two to three administrations.

Contraindications: Not known.

Note: Since the adsorption process is reversible, after some time the adsorbed substances can be released and re-exert the harmful effect.

Withdrawal period: No limit.

Storage method: In the original packaging, at a temperature of up to 250C, out of reach of children.

Shelf life: 2 years. After opening, use the contents of the package immediately.
