Neocolistin P

Composition: 1 g oral powder contains:

Colistin sulphate 4.800000 i.u.

Indications: Treatment of the gastrointestinal tract of swine and broilers caused by

bacteria susceptible to colistin sulfate (primarily E.coli and non-invasive strains of

Salmonella spp.)

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to polymyxin and kidney damage.

Side effects: Hypersensitivity reactions to polymyxin. If using larger doses than

prescribed, over a long period of time, may cause kidney damage.

Dosage and method of administration:

The drug is given to poultry in drinking water at a dose of 10 g / 40 L of water for 5 days.

The drug can be given to pigs in drinking water, milk or food in a dose of:

– 10g of the drug to 40L of water or milk

– 10g of the drug to 20 kg food for 5 days

Poultry should not drink water 1 hour before application of the drug through drinking

water.

Instructions for proper use of the drug

Make a fresh solution daily.

Waiting period:

Meat and edible tissues are not for human consumption during treatment and 2 days

after the last drug administration.
